Performance Reporting Analyst (initial 6 month contract, potentially up to 12 months)

St Patrick's House, Cardiff

Do you fancy helping shape the data management platforms we use to provide analytical information across a varied audience? If you have experience in helping define key performance measures and setting up analysis tools to measure them, then this is a great chance to join our dynamic team of analysts.

About the job

As one of our Performance Reporting Analysts you will provide analytical support across not only our business but also our external partners such as Transport for Wales, where you will deliver high quality, timely, business critical analysis. Each day will see you analyse and interpret complex qualitative and quantitative data; drawing conclusions and presenting findings in a compelling way, tailored to the needs of the relevant audience.

You will look after the day to day management of our performance systems, making sure we deliver accurate, consistent, current and detailed performance information. You will provide advice and assistance through ad-hoc performance reporting to both our internal and external stakeholders, helping to deliver performance strategies and contractual obligations.

About the ideal candidate

It is not essential to possess an extensive knowledge of railway performance management systems as full training and support will be provided, however, you will need to have excellent communication skills, a high numerical ability and be very experienced with the use of Microsoft Excel. An understanding of Power BI would be advantageous.

You will also have a passion for engagement, good attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Sound interesting? Well if you want to be part of a team helping to deliver the rail network of the future for Wales – we would love to receive your application!
