This is an exciting opportunity to join our HSEQ shared-support team at Transport for Wales Rail Services as our Transformation Business Partner
Our Transformation Business Partner will support the projects and transformation teams to deliver shared goals based on risk, requirement and legal obligations. We are looking for someone that will promote our shared safety values, our lifesaving principles and behaviours and embed them into everything we do - creating a movement with the aim of delivering it as our culture.
We want a person who can support managers and leaders in a diverse a fast-changing environment, acting as an enabling and empowering force that challenges the teams to deliver safety excellence beyond compliance.
The successful candidate will be passionate in driving forward developments in health, safety, the environment and quality that will support the business in achieving its goals in train operations and infrastructure management.
Support areas will include risk assessment, accident investigation, change management, implementing and developing policies and procedures, continuous improvement and more. The ability to engage and develop the roles of our safety representatives will be a key focus.
You won’t be doing this alone as you will be part of our wider Safety and Assurance team, joining a group of like-minded professionals all determined to deliver excellent safety management and performance.
With excellent IT skills, you will be highly competent in report writing, with the ability to provide detailed and meaningful commentary.
You will have previous experience of working within a role such as this, with a strong leadership background, ideally coupled with knowledge railway operations, however this is not essential.
