We have an exciting opportunity for a driver to move into a driver instructor role for Holyhead on a 12 month secondment basis.
Based at Holyhead, this role will allow you to get involved in a range of activities; you will be responsible for delivering driver training/briefing, coaching and supporting drivers who are returning to work, mentoring drivers undertaking route learning, and completing driver assessments where needed.
You will also provide support and feedback to the Driver Management Team when required.
You must be a qualified Train Driver, with at least 3 years driving experience and knowledge of routes and traction for the Holyhead depot. You should excel in your current role, have excellent written & verbal communication skills and above all, possess heaps of motivation for the driver role. You will need to hold or be prepared to work towards the Coaching & Assessor and Presentation Skills awards, as well as having good IT skills.
