The Train Planning team is a vital function within our business. The Short Term Planning team is collectively responsible for delivering the amended weekly timetable, and for producing rolling stock and traincrew diagrams to prepare robust, effective and customer friendly plans.
As a Train Planning & Diagramming Specialist you will contribute to this work by producing the weekly amended timetable, rolling stock and Train Crew diagrams that help us deliver our services according to agreed franchise performance targets. The role is initially for a 12 month fixed term contract, but this could become a more permanent position in due course.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, adaptable with strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail. Transport industry experience is preferable but not required. A strong training programme will be put in place to support you to develop the skills necessary to be successful in the role.
