We have an exciting new opportunity for a Station Resource Officer (South) to join our Stations Team in Cardiff. This role will work standard office hours Monday to Friday (09:00-17:00) – no shift work involved.
This role will ensure our Station staff are rostered to provide efficient and effective coverage for all our stations.
You will roster our Station staff within the set budget constraints. You will work closely with our Control and Performance teams, as well as other key functions across the business and will also play a pivotal role in service recovery across our network.
Working under pressure, to tight deadlines, you will be able to prioritise, make sound decisions and solve challenging tasks. You will have good ICT skills (including Word and Excel) as well as excellent written and verbal communication.
The successful applicant should have an understanding of railway staff rostering principles plus working agreements.
