TfW Rail Services have an exciting new opportunity for a Finance Business Partner in our busy Finance department in Cardiff.
The role is key in providing a link between finance, operational staff and external stakeholders to ensure that decisions are based on sound financial information and that accounting records and performance are recorded and reflected accurately.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
· Preparation of periodic management information and commentaries, including usage of dashboards, analytics and infographics.
· Independently conduct monthly review meetings with budget holders, to act as the key point of contact for all finance issues for budget holders, and to support them with business cases.
· Periodic presentation of financial performance, forecasts and budget variances, including financial opportunities and risks.
You will have strong financial disciplines, be commercially minded, and have excellent analytical & numeracy skills. This role involves frequent interaction with directors, senior managers and external stakeholders, therefore you will have excellent communication skills and experience at operating at a senior level. Experience in problem solving in a fast-moving organisation, clear thinking, and decisiveness in both financial & non-financial issues in the organisation is beneficial.
Finance Business Partnering experience and professional accounting qualification required (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). Experience in the rail industry is also desired.
