About the job


As one of our Duty Reporting & Information Managers you will provide support within the Control team in providing a coherent timeline of events affecting our services to a number of external partners such as Transport for Wales. You will deliver high quality, timely, business critical information and each day will see you analyse, interpret and disseminate information in a compelling way, tailored to the needs of the relevant audience be that Technical or Customer focused.


You will look after the day to day management of our customer Information flows, making sure we deliver accurate, consistent, current and detailed information at all times. You will provide advice and assistance through reporting to both our internal and external stakeholders, helping to deliver information strategies and contractual obligations.


About the ideal candidate


It is not essential to possess an extensive knowledge of railway systems as full training and support will be provided, however, you will need to have excellent communication skills, a high numerical ability and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.


You will also have a passion for engagement, communication, good attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
