    To be the main point of contact for issues, concerns, projects, changes and objectives in regards to safety, environment and security and work in conjunction with the Function and responsible manager to support in the develop of company risk assessments, training, change management, incidents / accidents and ensure suitable controls are implemented.

    Ensure that all Health and Safety legislation is complied with as minimum, driving towards rail and industry best practice and innovations.

    To promote, enhance and measure the organisational culture programmes through the team including reactive and proactive programmes, training, communication and engagement across the business.

    With excellent IT skills, you will be highly competent in report writing, with the ability to provide detailed and meaningful commentary.

    You will have previous experience of working within a role such as this, with a strong leadership background, ideally coupled with knowledge railway operations, however this is not essential.

    As a Train Planning & Diagramming Specialist you will contribute to this work by producing the weekly amended timetable, rolling stock and Train Crew diagrams that help us deliver our services according to agreed franchise performance targets. The role is initially for a 12 month fixed term contract, but this could become a more permanent position in due course. 

    The ideal candidate will be highly organised, adaptable with strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail. Transport industry experience is preferable but not required.     What your role will look like:

    Assistant Technician Duties

    Shunting Duties

    As Executive Recruiter you will be responsible for all aspects of executive-level recruitment across all of TfWRS’ business areas. You will take full ownership of the strategy and execution of end-to-end search assignments and will be expected to build productive and sustainable relations with our leaders while delivering efficient recruitment support and skilfully influencing hiring decisions based on considered, fact-based advice.
